What municipalities does the Perth and District Sports Hall of Fame encompass?
The Town of Perth, Township of Drummond/North Elmsley, Lanark Highlands, and Tay Valley Township are the municipalities that comprise the district.
I do not live within Perth and District. May I still nominate someone for consideration of induction into the Hall?
Yes, you may as long as the person/team you are nominating meets the requirements for consideration.
How can I nominate someone for consideration of induction?
Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Home page of this site. The form details what is required for a complete nomination package and where to forward the completed package.
Where can I visit the Perth and District Sports Hall of Fame?
The Hall is housed inside the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 244 at 26 Beckwith Street East in Perth. Hours of operation are 10am to 5pm most days.
How are inductees and sportsperson of the year determined?
Selection of inductees shall be determined by the Board of Directors. Nominations are accepted from any member of the public.
